Joint statement - Palestine 15/08/2025

The ministers of Foreign Affairs of several Arab and Muslim countries, including Algeria, and the secretaries general of the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) have strongly condemned the declarations of the head of the Zionist occupation government concerning the so-called Greater Israel project, affirming that these remarks constitute a flagrant and serious violation of the rules of international law and a direct threat to Arab national security, the sovereignty of States and regional and international peace and security.

The foreign ministers of 31 Arab and Muslim countries, including Algeria, and the secretaries general of the Arab League, the OIC and the GCC have strongly condemned the declarations of the head of the Zionist occupation government, relayed by Zionist media, concerning the so-called Greater Israel project, affirming that these remarks constitute a flagrant and serious violation of the rules of international law and a direct threat to Arab national security, to the sovereignty of States and to regional and international peace and security.

Reaffirming their commitment to international legality and the United Nations Charter, notably article 2, paragraph 4, relating to prohibiting the threat or use of force, Arab and Muslim nations will continue taking all necessary steps to strengthen peace and ensure security and stability, rejecting any illusions of dominance through force.

The signatories also condemned with the greatest firmness the green light from the extremist Zionist minister Bezalel Smotrich to the colonization plan in the E1 zone and his racist and extremist remarks against the establishment of the Palestinian State, qualifying them as flagrant violation of international law and manifest attack on the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to the establishment of their independent and sovereign State on the borders of 4 June 1967, with Al-Quds as capital.
